Selecting the right auto body place for your needs

Are we the best place for your auto body needs? We certainly have the expertise and desire! Here are four things to consider when choosing an auto body shop…

1) Reputation

If you don’t have a friend or family member with a recommendation, then look at the online reviews and owner responses to those reviews (Google Maps, Facebook, Yelp!).

2) Location

It’s best to work with a shop that isn’t more than an hour from your location and their shop should be clean and organized.

3) Estimates

Different shops will use different techniques / products and costs will range widely depending on parts (new, used, aftermarket). Compare a couple quotes and their overall value.

Note: Be wary of the lowest quote unless you are confident that the shop and products won’t cause issues down the road. Not only are there differences in terms of technique and paint quality (which are key in making the results match and last longer), but the parts used also greatly affect pricing. Original equipment manufacturers (OEM) are typically more expensive because they provide the best visual match, durability, and value. It’s important to understand why estimates differ and the overall value for you before proceeding with a company.

4) Professionalism

Know how long they’ve been in business and have a license, that they have fire/theft insurance, and what their warranty covers (especially the warranty duration).

That’s our top four items to consider when selecting the right auto body place for your needs. If you have any questions about our list or about why we are the best option for you in the Vail Valley, please let us know!
